With over 25 years of experience, Dr Dinesh Rao is passionate about creating a calm, stress-free dental experience where patients feel relaxed, comfortable, and never rushed. Known for his gentle and thorough approach, he takes the time to listen to patients’ concerns, clearly explain treatment options, and help them make informed decisions with confidence. Patients appreciate his honesty, attention to detail, and caring chairside manner.
Dr Dinesh is committed to ongoing professional development and regularly attends continuing education courses in Australia and overseas to further expand his clinical knowledge and skills.
Outside of dentistry, Dinesh enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, Avni and Anvay. He also has a passion for travelling, photography, cooking, and music.
Dr Ben Chen

Dr Ben Chen is committed to providing thoughtful, patient-focused dental care for individuals and families across the Bendigo community. Originally from Shepparton and a graduate of La Trobe University, he brings a calm and approachable manner to every appointment, with a strong focus on communication and personalised care.
His professional interests include crowns, root canal treatment, tooth extractions, and supporting anxious patients with nitrous oxide during treatment. Before joining Integrated Smiles Bendigo, Dr Ben worked within community dental services across Victoria, caring for patients from a wide range of backgrounds and age groups with varied dental needs and concerns.
Outside of dentistry, he enjoys painting, writing humorous stories, exercising, reading, and exploring local food and restaurants.
Dr Penny Teo

Dr Penny Teo earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide and is passionate about providing calm, supportive, and patient-focused dental care. Known for her gentle and empathetic approach, she takes the time to help patients feel comfortable, informed, and at ease throughout treatment.
Dr Penny has 5 years of experience and a special interest in smile makeovers, wisdom teeth extractions, temporomandibular disorders (TMD), sleep apnoea, and caring for anxious patients. She is committed to ongoing professional development and delivering modern dental care tailored to each patient’s individual needs and concerns, with a strong focus on communication.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Penny enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, and exploring new cafés and restaurants.
Peter Ashman

Peter Ashman is an experienced Dental Prosthetist who has supported patients throughout the Bendigo community for 40 years with denture care and tooth replacement solutions. Born and raised in Bendigo, Peter values building long-term patient relationships through honest communication, personalised care, and practical guidance.
With experience as both a dental technician and dental prosthetist, he has a detailed understanding of designing, adjusting, and maintaining dentures. Peter supports patients with full dentures, partial dentures, relines, repairs, and implant-supported denture options, with a focus on comfort, fit, appearance, and function for everyday oral wellbeing. He remains committed to providing support tailored to each patient’s needs.
Outside the clinic, Peter enjoys travelling, spending time with family and friends, and playing golf.

The price of $22/week for dental implants (full treatment price $5,000) is calculated over 84 months with Dosh or On Brand
The price of $29/week for clear aligners (full treatment price $7,000) is calculated over 84 months with Dosh or On Brand
